Scott McCullough

Scott McCullough is an award winning director/cinematographer/editor. He has worked on over two hundred filmed commercial projects (35 mm/16 mm/70 mm).

A national/international award winning director, cinematographer, and editor, Scott McCullough has filmed well over three hundred commercials/projects and continues to stay busy shooting commercials for many fortune 500 companies. Serving as his own director of photography, his technical background also brought him many awards in cinematography as well as directing.

Discovered by musician and legend Prince, together he and McCullough also collaborated on 24 projects including the RIAA Gold home videos “Gett Off”, “Diamonds and Pearls”, “Sexy M.F.” and with artists such as Carmen Electra, The Time, Mavis Staples and Tevin Campbell. His last music video for MizzNina with Colby O’Donis (on Lady Gaga’s “Just Dance” and 2009’s “What You Got” feat. Akon) “What You Waiting For” #1 chart Malaysia/MTVAsia hit with over 3 million Youtube hits.

Some of his commercial clients include work with screen legend Paul Newman for PacifiCare, General Motors, Buick, Pontiac, Ford, GMC, Jeep, KIA, Ford, The Home Depot, Lowe’s, Sprint, Direct TV, EA Sports, NASCAR, Coors Light, Budweiser, AMTRAK, Sony PlayStation, Target, Best Buy, and many other national/international brands.

In addition to commercials, McCullough has branched out into longer form projects. NASCAR/Winston Cup and R.J. Reynolds relied on McCullough as director/director of photography/art director/writer/editor of the 11-minute, $4.5 million, 70 mm widescreen production titled, “Thunder Dome—100%.” Which screened in what has been dubbed the “worlds largest mobile theater”.

Slated to start 2011-2012 McCullough is tapped for three major feature films. His 2009 thriller/drama ultra low budget “3 Days Gone” was a big success. McCullough is also attached to direct the biopic “Almost Sublime (working title)” about the true story about the long beach’s famed band Sublime).

Two short films Scott directed; “Innocent”, written by Academy Award Winner Gareth Wardell, and “God’s Helper”, still playing the festival circuit winning "Best Director", "Best Actress", and several other festival awards (International and US). Another short film “Audition” has won critical acclaim and festival selections around the country in 2004. His Current feature film project “NO COPS WITH WEDDING RINGS” is being considered by Creative Artist’s Agency, written by Clay (THE WATCHER) Ayers. The directed also the upcoming Thriller The Exorcism Diaries who is written by Kenny Yakkel,[1] the Inner Primary Entertainment project is produced by Clay Ayers and Deborah Moore.[2]
